The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is hiring a part-time Athletic Coordinator for Edmunds Middle School (grades 6-8). The Athletic Coordinator will work closely with the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Head of Athletics and Athletic Department personnel to perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
Supervision and oversight of athletic events and operations
Creating athletics schedule and facility scheduling
Maintaining and tracking athletic budget
Purchasing and ordering of equipment and inventory
Coordinating transportation
Hiring, firing, supervision, evaluation and training/professional development of coaches
Website and calendar maintenance
Monitoring academic and behavioral progress in conjunction with athletic department and school administration
Enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with the student handbook
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
Athletic Administrative experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft, Google and WordPress applications
Strong interpersonal skills with students, coaches, parents, faculty and staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexible hours – evenings and weekends
Able to create an environment that welcomes and supports diversity, equity and inclusion; direct experience with diverse cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds
Salary: As per the Master Agreement between the Burlington Board of School Commissioners and the Office Personnel.
