2 is looking for
an experienced Sports Anchor/MMJ
to join our
team.
This person would be responsible for co-anchoring, reporting and producing a nightly sports show, anchoring sportscasts; shooting, writing and editing sports content; and producing digital elements, features and shows.
You must be a storyteller who is committed to being creative across ALL platforms, every day. You should be good at cultivating sources to win BIG stories.
You must have strong storytelling skills and an energetic/creative delivery live in the field and in studio.
Prior anchoring, MMJ and producing experience as well as a college degree and at least four
years of television news or sports reporting experience required; must be a team player who can multi-task under deadline pressure.
Responsibilities:
Co-anchor a nightly sports show and anchor sportscasts
Produce a nightly sports show
Shoot, write, and edit sports stories
Strong on-air presence
Deliver sports stories in a clear and concise manner.
Extensive live coverage from major sporting events
Show a vast knowledge of Colorado sports teams, players and storylines.
Active on social media. Knowledge of social networks and ability to create digital content.
Respond to breaking sports news and events as required.
Requirements:
Knowledge of ENG camera.
Knowledge of editing (we use Adobe Premier).
Producing knowledge and experience (we use ENPS).
College degree
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Open to a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Must be available to travel to cover sports teams
Minimum four
years of experience in sports MMJ and producing.
Experience covering a professional sports team is helpful and not required.
Valid drivers license with a good driving record.

Pay range is $80K annually based on experience, skills and abilities.
