Description:
King University is accepting applications for the position of part-time Assistant Track Coach. The successful candidate will focus on coaching pole vault and jumps, and supporting the Head Track Coach as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of track, including a knowledge of pole vault/jumps, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree. Experience as a student athlete at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team's competition and practice schedules; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations;
