Humana's Corporate Finance and Accounting Organization is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant that is tech savvy to join the Tax Team working remote anywhere in the U.S. As the Senior Tax Accountant, you will primarily support the pharmacy organization.

Responsibilities

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for attending pharmacy project meetings and assessing impacts to sales tax systems and reporting. This role will review vision and scope documents for features needed for tax calculations.

Additional key responsibilities include:


Configure and maintain OneSource Determination tax logic
Document process flows and project information
Maintain tax custom mappings and documentation
Research products for tax classification and audit documentation
Respond to audit questions and customer sales related tax questions
Create tickets for support of software issues
Create test cases, analyze results and troubleshoot logs


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
5 years of related experience
Experience with computerized tax software and research programs, preferred OneSource Determination and/or ODIT
Strong tax project workflow, configuration and user testing experience
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Multi-State sales and use tax laws
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Certified Public Accountant or IT background focused on Indirect Tax
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Alteryx and SQL experience helpful
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products
