ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are

Plan and organize recreation programs within compliance requirements
Study and identify recreational needs and resources
Schedule use and maintenance of facilities
Perform other related duties, as assigned
Abide by Standards within Performance Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS revised 2016), and any subsequent modifications made to the standards.
Abide by American Correctional Association Standards (ACA)
Report Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) incidents immediately
Compile a daily activity report of recreational duties
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
U.S. Citizen or LPR;
Not currently employed by federal agency/active duty military;
HS Graduate or GED;
Meet physical/health requirements for duties.
Valid Public Trust Clearance
Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience within Correctional or Detention setting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Ability to timely and accurate reports on Word and Excel Formats
English literacy and ability to write reports in English;

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
