Description:
King University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Cross Country/Track and Field Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Cross Country/Track and Field Coach with all aspects of the Cross Country and Track and Field programs. Specifically, this position will be responsible for coaching sprints and jumps.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of track and field, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development. Candidates should have experience coaching or competing in sprints and jumps.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience coaching at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations;
