Description
The Assistant Volleyball Coach position will be responsible for assisting the women’s volleyball program. Responsible for assisting with all aspects of a collegiate volleyball program. Including, but not limited to recruiting prospective student-athletes, organizing, and executing practice and game plans, assist in operational procedures such as travel, scheduling, individual and program development, camps, fundraising and community engagement. Must be familiar with and adhere to departmental policies and procedures, as well as NAIA and Frontier Conference regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Supervise the student-athletes within the volleyball program.
Assist the Director of Athletics in the recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of student workers for concessions and ticketing duties at home athletic events.
Knowledge of NAIA and Frontier Conference eligibility rules and regulations.
Strong oral communication skills, customer service skills and a
Strong understanding of organizational strategies for paper and electronic documents.
Excellent leadership qualities, communication and relationship building skills.
Ability to coordinate and execute department of athletic travel and fundraising logistics.
Preferred
Collegiate level volleyball experience
Strong oral communication skills
Experience managing cash funds
Supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience in administrative support position
